Allen Levy, PhD, LCSW is a certified practicing transpersonal modern psychoanalyst and psychotherapist in private practice in Westport, Connecticut. He specializes in the treatment of mental and emotional disorders of all forms, working with individuals, couples, families and groups. He graduated from the Philadelphia School of Psychoanalysis, Union Graduate School, and Columbia University School of Social Work.
Dr. Levy is internationally known for his 52+ years of work in stress reduction, deep relaxation, and meditation. Since 1971, he has studied with Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, journeying to India almost every year to be with Swami. In 1989, with Swami's direct guidance, he shared Swami's meditations — including Jyoti Meditation — with overseas devotees at Prasanthi Nilayam, and was chosen to lead the Christmas celebrations, choir, and music that year.
A devoted servant, Dr. Levy led disaster counseling programs after 9/11, the 2005 Tsunami in Sri Lanka, and the 2010 Haiti earthquake. He served as violin teacher at Swami's Secondary School and College until 2022, and has played with the Sathya Sai Universal Symphony since 1999, including at the 90th Birthday Celebration.
There is no fee to attend the retreat — all are welcome with open hearts.
